Student Reviews
#1 Semester 1 2024
Anyone who is interested in science and its intersection with the law will find this fascinating. The classes are heavily discussion based and most of the unit focuses on critically evaluating and analyzing the legal frameworks from a policy point of view.
TIPS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:
Take notes during the semester!
#2 Pre-2024
This unit is very interesting and the lecturer was quite engaging and passionate, but note that is very much highly based on policy, so if you are not interested in policy then this unit may not be for you. The assessment was very manageable, it was an essay for the assignment, and then the exam was two policy based essay questions. The unit also has quite a lot of overlap with legal issues in medicine.
TIPS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:
I think you probably could do this quite easily alongside more heavy units, it is quite manageable.
